Built in the early 1800s, the Harvey Mansion has become a staple of the New Bern community both because of its cozy atmosphere and its paranormal ties. Visitors have witnessed a woman, dressed in period clothing, lingering and walking across the second and third floors. Workers have reported silverware being moved and flickering lights, among other possible ghostly occurrences.
