Slaughterhouse: The Final Cut is based off the original Slaughterhouse, a former haunted maze that was a fan favorite for many years. Although Slaughterhouse: The Final Cut is inspired by the original, this is one sequel you can count on being better. According to our "Scream Dream Team," the maze creators, Slaughterhouse: The Final Cut combines intensity, realism and fun. Take a look below at some of the concept art for an early preview of what's to come….oink, oink.
BEHIND THE HAUNTED MAZE
For a little backstory on the maze, it is set in Red Ribbon Meats, an old meat processing plant in the 1970's. As they story goes, Red Ribbon Meats was one of the most popular meat producers before The Great Depression hit. Once the economy tanked, the company hit hard times - leading to the unfortunate demise of the original founder Samuel Osteler.
Determined to revamp the family business, Samuel's son took over the processing plant. To turn a profit, the company used very unethical practices to meet the demands for cheap meat, including using malnourished cattle and....humans. Under this demented direction, Red Ribbon Meats was able to turn things around. Now they proudly provide tours of their slaughterhouse to unsuspecting guests with the promise of free, fresh samples. As a guest, you'll soon see how they put the magic in the meat - at prices that cannot be beat.
Located behind Carolina Cyclone, Slaughterhouse: The Final Cut will provide the ultimate SCarowinds experience this year. In addition to Slaughterhouse: The Final Cut, Sliver Scream Sinemas is now under the name of Sliver Scream Studios. It has been refreshed and revamped with all new scares that will surely deliver the ultimate director’s cut. SCarowinds is the most terrifying haunted attraction in the Carolinas. Located on the state line in Charlotte and Fort Mill, SCarowinds features seven haunted mazes, five scare zones and five themed shows. It is the ultimate Halloween event.
Some locations may have last minute updates due to changing circumstances. Please visit the attraction's website and/or social media before going to double-check that they are open. |

The props, costumes and effect were awesome.. but the actors were lackluster and have not figured it out yet, so it really sucked on the end. :( And the lines for the mazes were LONG AF. You lost half of the night waiting in line for poor actors and weak scares.

Email Verified great scare
As a former employee, I can guarantee scarowinds is actually scary, tickets are expensive but you get ALOT for the price and you get to go in out of the mazes as many times as you want all night, I would recommend it to those who are looking for a real scare
