Orbs

Me and my husband got a room on the bottom floor and on our first day of being in the hotel my husband took a picture of the room. When we looked at the picture there was a orb that appeared in the picture.

Sally the Cat is Adorable. Sally the Ghost... Not So Much!

My husband and I spent our anniversary at The Historic Brookstown Inn last December. After celebrating at the Tavern in Old Salem, we returned to our lovely suite for a Champagne nightcap. Around 5:00am, I was awakened by a touch on my shoulder and the sense of a bright light in the room. I turned over, opened my eyes and as soon as I could focus clearly, I saw a frail woman standing beside the bed. She was wearing a grey dress and her hair was red and wiry. I sat up, and she took a step closer. Her face was a stark white skeleton stripped of skin. I reached across the bed to wake my husband but he wasn't there. I called out to him. When I turned back to look at the woman, she was slowly backing away. By the time my husband came out of the bathroom, she was gone. We cuddled up and went back to sleep. I never told him about the redheaded skeleton.
